Dr. Sarah Oppelt is a biochemist, professor, and outdoor adventurer. She completed her Ph.D. at Boston University where she studied the effects of sugar metabolism in liver and brain health. In her post-doctoral work, she investigated inflammation and lipid metabolism at Harvard Medical School.

Her professional research currently focuses on metabolic regulation. Her personal life focuses on eating tacos and running up mountains.
